Is Decongestants Safe for You - Nasal congestion and tightness in the chest resulting in difficult breathing, can be alleviated by medication type decongestant. However, you need to know, that kind of medicine is not always safe for everyone.

American Academy of Family Physicians says, decongestants should not be consumed without a doctor's recommendation for the classified:

- Experiencing problems on the heart.

- Having trouble with the prostate.

- High blood pressure.

- glaucoma

- Diabetes

- Abnormalities in thyroid hormone.
